Natural Pureoderant

You may not realize it, but the skin under your arms is one of the most sensitive areas of your body. Doesn’t it make sense to keep harsh chemicals away from the area?

As you get ready for your day, you probably apply some type of antiperspirant without giving it a second thought. However, you should be fully aware of what you are using on your armpits, and here’s why: if you use a deodorant or antiperspirant containing aluminum, you could be increasing your risk of breast cancer.

Antiperspirants work by clogging, closing, or blocking the pores that release sweat under your arms, with the active ingredient typically being aluminum. Our bodies need to sweat to allow for the release of toxins, and by blocking pores, you remove one of your body’s routes for detoxification. Additionally, it raises the question of where the metals are going once you roll (or spray) them on.

Research, including one study recently published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology, shows that aluminum is not only absorbed by your body, but it is deposited in your breast tissue. It can even be found in nipple aspirate fluid, a fluid that reflects the microenvironment in your breast.

Researchers found that the level of aluminum in nipple aspirate fluid was significantly higher in women with breast cancer compared to healthy women. These results suggest an indication for raised levels of aluminum as a biomarker for identification of women at higher risk of developing breast cancer.

Though often added to non-organic deodorant and antiperspirant, aluminum is one of the worst metals you can put on your skin, and it may lead to health issues when applied to the body.

Rather than go deodorant-free and risk losing your favorite blouse to yellow pit stains, I created this incredible cult favorite of our beauty followers. You get a natural, neutralized scent and pro-skin health alternative to the many toxic products on the market that have been proven to increase the risk of breast cancer.

Though my organic deodorants are not antiperspirants, I believe it is good to sweat to help eliminate toxins.

Rather than artificial fragrances found in “scented” deodorants that can irritate your skin and create sensitivities, Pureoderant utilizes calming, natural, and organic essential oils to create a clean, fresh scent.

Pureoderant is formulated to be completely non-toxic, containing no harmful chemicals or additives. You’ll be free of aluminum, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, petroleum, phosphates, DEA, or dyes. Plus, there are no synthetic, artificial, or genetically modified ingredients.
